CYCLING
May-October
Adaptive Cycling is a wonderful way to enjoy the outdoors, get exercise and spend time with friends and family.  Come ride on the Bridge Falls Path and The Cotton Valley Trail in Wolfeboro, NH.

HAND CYCLES
An adaptive hand cycle is a hand-powered bike with hand pedals and adaptive hand controls for people with limited arm movement. Handcycles are a good option for people who are unable to use their legs to power a bike, and can be used by both able-bodied and wheelchair users, as well as people with lower body mobility issues or injuries.
TRIKES
An adaptive trike is a bicycle with three wheels and adaptive features. The wide wheel base and low center of gravity make it a good choice for children with balance issues or developmental challenges.

tAnDEMS
An adaptive tandem, also known as a tandem bike, is a two-wheeled bicycle that allows two riders. The front rider, or "captain", steers and brakes, while the rear rider, or "stoker", provides additional pedal power. This setup requires teamwork, both in terms of pedaling and navigation.

Many individuals with the following types of disabilities enjoy adaptive cycling:
Autism
Amputee
Stroke/CVA
Spinal Cord Injury
Visual Impairment
Traumatic Brain Injury
Cerebral Palsy
Neurological Disorders
Alzheimer's
Down Syndrome
Spina Bifida
